- Want a paid Ausbildung in Germany? You can apply for it yourself, without an agent. I'm Uday, the founder of GoAusbildung, where more than 60,000 people prepare for Germany. Let me show you everything you get, from your first question to your interview.
- First, is Ausbildung right for you? The eligibility checker asks six quick questions, about your education, your marks, your age, your German, the fields you like and where you live. You get a score out of a hundred, without typing your email. Then 12 free tools answer what comes next, like which documents you need, how a German CV is different, and how long the whole process takes.
- Ready to start? Create your free account. Four taps tell us your career path, your German today, your education and when you want to start. And your road is ready, with your first six steps.
- Your dashboard always shows your next step, and the one after it, on a map of your whole journey. Fill in your profile once, and watch your score go up. Every CV, letter and kit you make uses it. Your papers live in one safe place, and our AI checks your German certificate.
- Now find your training place. Search more than 50,000 open Ausbildung listings across Germany, in English. Filter by city, field and start date. Open a job, switch between English and German, and see how well your profile matches it. Then apply directly on the company's own site. You apply yourself, so you stay in control. Save the jobs you like, and track every application, with its status and a hint on when to follow up.
- Next, your German application. The CV builder turns your profile into a German Lebenslauf, the way employers there expect it, and an employer ready score shows you what to fix. Your first export is free. The cover letter tool writes a formal German Anschreiben for each job, with an English version, so you understand every line. Your first letter is free. The application kit gives you everything for one job: your letters, an email to the employer, a document checklist and likely interview questions. Your first kit is free to view. And when you're stuck, ask the AI advisor. It knows your profile and answers questions about your own case. Your first five messages are free.
- Then practise your interview, in German. Answer out loud in a short level check, take a full mock interview with follow-up questions, and get a readiness report. One mock every 30 days is free, and the question bank has model answers for five fields.
- Going into nursing? Workplace German teaches you the German for your first shift, with picture cards and speaking practice. The first lesson is free. And a free culture course shows you how life in Germany works.
- Want more? A one-time plan lifts the free limits on the AI tools. Standard and Premium add every workplace German lesson. And Premium adds ready applications every week, which you send yourself, interview prep for the company you applied to, and your own roadmap to Germany.
- Your Ausbildung starts with one step. Create your free account on goausbildung.com, and start your application today.
What is Ausbildung?
Germany's dual training system: you train on the job at a real company, study at a vocational school, and get paid the whole time.
- Most of the week at the company, 1 to 2 days at vocational school (some programs use block weeks)
- Usually two to three years
Sources: IHK Rhein-Neckar, dual training explained, Vocational Training Act (BBiG) § 5. Checked October 2026.
Traditional university
- Mostly theory-based learning
- No training contract with an employer
German Ausbildung
- Theory plus hands-on practice
- Paid training from the first month (in-company training)
- State-recognised qualification
- Usually two to three years
