Dual Study Program in Electrical and Information Engineering 2027

Dual study program leading to a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Information Engineering at ABB, in cooperation with Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences (HSD). You start at ABB on 01.08.2027 with a pre-internship and an induction event, and the study program runs for 4 years from 01.09.2027. University and practical phases alternate on site in Düsseldorf/Ratingen. The practical phase takes place at the interface of research & development, project and quality management, and industrialization.

• Developing and optimizing IS-limiters and digital, data-driven solutions for grid components and systems
• Supporting technical projects across the whole product lifecycle, from concept to plant production
• Contributing to the industrialization of innovative production processes
• Close cooperation between R&D, project management, industrial engineering and production
• Aligning development requirements with production-relevant requirements
• Analyzing technical and process data and creating transparent evaluations

• General or subject-specific university entrance qualification, or university of applied sciences entrance qualification
• Good grades in math, science and technical subjects as well as in English and German help you
