Retail Management Training Program for School Leavers

Training and further education program for future retail managers at Action. Over three years, you earn three Chamber of Industry and Commerce qualifications: retail salesperson, certified retail specialist and trainer certification. The program takes you from sales work to store management tasks.

• Start with sales tasks such as stocking shelves, maintaining stock, operating the checkout and advising customers
• Gradually learn management tasks such as product displays and seasonal store changes, orders, returns, cash reconciliation and stocktaking
• Then take on staff scheduling and management, because employees are at the heart of Action
• In your third training year, take part in projects such as new store openings, store reviews with regional management or helping organize applicant days

• A general university entrance qualification or a Fachabitur with proof of internships (see Chamber of Industry and Commerce requirements)
• Interest in leadership and responsibility for a store
• Willingness to learn, work hard and adapt to change
