Retail Management Training Programme for School Leavers with Abitur

A three-year initial and advanced training programme at Action in Oelde for future retail managers. You gain three IHK qualifications: retail sales professional, advanced retail management specialist and trainer certification. You work through different roles, from sales to store management.

• Start with sales tasks such as stocking shelves, managing stock, operating tills and advising customers
• Gradually learn management tasks such as product displays and seasonal changes, ordering, returns, balancing tills and stocktakes
• Then take on staff scheduling and management, as employees are at the heart of Action
• In your third training year, take part in projects such as new store openings, store reviews with regional management or helping organise applicant days

• Abitur or Fachabitur with proof of internships (see IHK requirements)
• Interest in taking responsibility for staff and a store
• Willingness to learn, work hard and adapt to change
