Occupational Therapist, Special Needs Educator - Day Support Center for Autism

Alexianer Kloster Ebernach is looking, as soon as possible, for occupational therapists, work therapists, special needs educators, work educators or educators (m/f/d) for its day support center with a focus on autism in Cochem, with a workload of 50% - 75%.

• Accompaniment, support and assistance of people on the autism spectrum
• Planning, implementation and documentation of individual support measures to strengthen independence and participation
• Designing a structured, needs-based support/work environment following the TEACCH approach and including other educational concepts
• Helping to build and further develop the support group
• Cooperation with relatives, legal guardians, and internal and external cooperation partners
• Organizational and administrative tasks, computer-based documentation

• Completed training as an occupational therapist, work therapist, work educator (m/f/d) or
• Completed training as a special needs educator or educator (m/f/d) with experience in daily structuring in integration assistance facilities
• Experience working with people on the autism spectrum and knowledge of the TEACCH approach, or willingness to get trained accordingly
• Empathy, appreciation as well as team and communication skills define you
• Structured, independent way of working and enjoyment of helping shape and build a new support group
