Psychotherapist - Therapeutic Girls' Residential Group Viersen

The Therapeutic Girls' Residential Group Plan B in Viersen-Dülken offers seven places for girls aged 8 and over and provides full residential child and youth support. The target group is girls who need intensive care because of trauma, attachment disorders, abuse, addiction or psychiatric illness in the family. We are looking as soon as possible for a psychotherapist or similar professional. The position is part-time (50%).

• Independently carrying out diagnostic and therapeutic assignments
• Professional and case consulting for the educational team of the intensive residential group Plan B in Viersen-Dülken
• Providing individual and group therapy offers
• Crisis intervention
• Respectful and trusting cooperation with families of origin and other institutions (clinics, specialist doctors, etc.)

• Completed degree in psychology, education or social work with additional therapeutic qualification as child and adolescent psychotherapist (m/f/d) or
• Systemic family therapist or child and adolescent psychotherapist in advanced training (m/f/d)
• Knowledge of trauma pedagogy, psychoanalysis and depth-psychology-based and/or behavioral therapy approaches
• Experience with complex mental disorders in childhood and adolescence and deriving preventive measures
• Willingness to work across systems in a multiprofessional team
• Willingness to work mainly in the afternoons
