About this Apprenticeship
The training of road maintenance workers is versatile and varied. You check, for example, roadways, guardrails and bridges for damage, repair and asphalt. In addition, you take care of green maintenance and ensure free travel on our motorways in winter. Motorway without a driving licence? Not with us! That's why we pay for your driving licence classes B (car), C and CE (truck with trailer) during your training.

Requirements
- Willingness to learn, perform and show commitment
- Reliability, teamwork and initiative
- Manual dexterity and technical understanding
- At least lower secondary school certificate or equivalent vocational qualification
- Ideally satisfactory grades in German, Mathematics and Physics/Technology or Natural Sciences
- Physical resilience for driving vehicles and for physical work outdoors in all seasons
What Die Autobahn GmbH des Bundes offers
- You are part of the team from day one. Our trainers support you in a partnership, which is why we guarantee you a permanent position after successful completion of the apprenticeship (according to TV-Nachwuchskräfte Autobahn).
- You receive a good training allowance according to our company tariff: 1st year: 1,418.26 Euro / 2nd year: 1,468.20 Euro / 3rd year: 1,514.02 Euro, an annual special payment and a completion bonus.
- You get 30 + 1 days annual leave and paid leave for exam preparation.
- We pay for your driving licences classes B (car), C and CE (truck with trailer) after the probation period.
- We also pay for all learning and training materials.
- You also get your smart orange work clothing from us and we even take care of the free laundry service for you.
