About this Apprenticeship
Varied apprenticeship outdoors at Autobahn GmbH. You check roadways, guardrails and bridges for damage, make repairs and asphalt, take care of greenery and keep the roads clear in winter. You learn the practical side at the Mannheim-Seckenheim motorway maintenance depot and the theory at the Rolf-Benz vocational school in Nagold. The training ends with an IHK exam.

Requirements
- Willingness to learn, to get involved and to perform
- Reliability, teamwork and initiative
- Manual skills and technical understanding
- At least a Hauptschule certificate or equivalent
- Ideally satisfactory grades in German, mathematics and physics/technology or natural sciences
- Physical fitness for driving vehicles and for physical work outdoors in every season
What Die Autobahn GmbH des Bundes offers
- You are part of the team from day one. Our trainers support you as partners, which is why we also guarantee you will be taken on after successfully completing the training (per TV-Nachwuchskräfte Autobahn).
- Good training pay under the in-house collective agreement: year 1: 1,418.26 euros / year 2: 1,468.20 euros / year 3: 1,514.02 euros, an annual special payment and a completion bonus.
- 30 + 1 days of annual leave and paid time off for exam preparation.
- We pay for your driving licences of classes B (car), C and CE (truck with trailer) after the probation period.
- We also pay for all learning and training materials.
- Stylish orange work clothing and a free laundry service.
