Embedded Software Developer for C/C++ for Active Medical Devices

As an Embedded Software Developer (f/m/d) for C/C++, you will not only work on the development and optimization of our medical devices as part of the team, but also help ensure that these devices meet industry standards and increase safety and efficiency in patient care.

• Independent development and implementation of embedded software solutions for medical devices
• Specification, implementation, verification and documentation of software
• Participation in the conception of system and software requirements in interdisciplinary teams
• Participation in the analysis of safety and security risks, as well as the implementation of suitable risk mitigation measures
• Conception and realization of user and communication interfaces
• Contribution of proposals for process improvements

• Successfully completed degree in computer science or a natural science discipline with professional experience in hardware-related software development
• Extensive practical experience in design, implementation and testing of hardware-related software
• Proven very good knowledge of C/C++, as well as good command of other programming and scripting languages
• Ideally knowledge and experience with real-time operating systems (Zephyr, FreeRTOS, embOS), device drivers, ARM/RISC microprocessors
• Desirable are experience in software development of safety-critical systems in regulated environments (Medical, Avionics, Railway, Automotive, etc.)
• You are characterized by a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Your pronounced analytical thinking enables you to understand complex system-wide relationships and present them understandably
• You have a high degree of personal responsibility and commitment to the task assigned to you
• Enjoy working in an interdisciplinary and international environment
• Continuous training and constant learning are a matter of course for you
