Sales Assistant for Tiles and Building Materials

At BAUHAUS, you advise customers on tiles and building materials and sell products that meet their needs. You work with the team to keep things running smoothly and give customers a good shopping experience.

• Sell customers the right products, whether mosaic tiles, floor tiles, cement, plaster or mortar.
• Support your colleagues and work together to keep things running smoothly and give customers the best possible shopping experience.
• Manage product supplies, create and process customer orders, maintain the product range and arrange promotional displays.
• Show enthusiasm for sales and give BAUHAUS customers the best possible advice.

• Completed vocational training in business or a trade is a good foundation, for example as a sales assistant, retail specialist, tiler, floor layer, stonemason, drywall installer or bricklayer (all genders).
• Experience in sales in retail, building materials or the hardware and DIY sector is an advantage.
• You have sound knowledge of tiles and building materials and can give customers expert advice.
• You have good advice and communication skills, focus on customer service, are friendly and helpful, and work well in a team.
