Pharmaceutical Technician / Chemical Technician in Ointment Production

At Bayer we are visionaries determined to overcome the greatest challenges of our planet. We are looking for pharmaceutical and chemical technicians for ointment production at the Grenzach-Wyhlen site. The position is fixed-term for 2 years.

• You independently produce semi-solid cosmetic and pharmaceutical products according to the rules stored in the IT systems and the valid work instructions
• You independently carry out all required cleaning and sterilization of rooms, systems and equipment according to our work instructions, as well as sampling for the quality control labs
• Resolving and escalating faults and carrying out maintenance within the scope of your acquired knowledge and skills, including the related GMP-compliant documentation, is part of your duties
• You take responsibility for the timely execution of stock movements, sampling, raw material storage and goods movements in SAP
• You ensure timely provision of raw and auxiliary materials to guarantee a smooth process flow at the production lines, as well as pre-weighing of raw and auxiliary materials according to the rules stored in the IT systems
• You actively support the transport of bulk goods and the pre-weighing of raw and auxiliary materials

• You have completed vocational training as a pharmaceutical technician (all genders), chemical technician (all genders) or other equivalent training, or knowledge gained through several years of work experience in pharmaceutical production
• You have interest in and understanding of technical, pharmaceutical and hygiene topics and workflows, especially regarding emulsion formation
• You bring a high level of initiative, reliability and awareness of safety and quality
• You enjoy working responsibly in a team and have strongly developed team and integration skills
• You are willing to work in fully continuous shift operation
• You have very good German skills in speaking and writing
