Apprenticeship as a Dairy Technologist

You will process fresh milk from regional farmers into cheese specialities, milk and whey powder, and lactose. During the apprenticeship, you will learn to operate highly automated equipment and ensure smooth processes while complying with hygiene regulations.

Operating and controlling modern equipment while observing occupational safety and environmental regulations; producing cheese, dried milk and whey powder, and lactose; packaging, storing and preparing products for dispatch; quality assurance through product and equipment checks.

Mathematics, biology and chemistry as favourite subjects; manual skills and technical understanding; willingness to work physically; strong quality and hygiene awareness; ability to work in a team; willingness to learn and work.
