Apprenticeship as a Construction Mechanic

Apprenticeship at CLAAS's main plant in Harsewinkel, focused on industrial production and production systems for manufacturing self-propelled harvesting machinery.

Learning basic manual skills such as turning, drilling, welding and milling; producing metal or plastic workpieces; assembling components and assemblies for self-propelled harvesting machinery; setting up, converting and commissioning production systems.

Manual dexterity; technical understanding; enthusiasm for modern production technologies; enjoyment of teamwork, commitment and motivation; completion of at least a lower secondary school certificate.

One-week introductory seminar with new colleagues; laptop and work clothing; broad insight into different areas of the company; additional training opportunities; participation in trade fairs and internal events; planned continued employment after the apprenticeship.
