Quality Assistant in Karlsruhe

Join our service centre as a part-time Quality Assistant in Karlsruhe, working 30 hours, Monday to Friday.

• Carry out quality checks, sampling and inspections throughout the process, from incoming deliveries to outgoing goods, including affiliated BZE sites and franking hubs where present
• Check compliance with quality standards, and document and follow up on quality issues and complaints
• Analyse quality data and inspection results, and help investigate errors and their causes to improve existing processes
• Coordinate with production, customer service and other departments on issues, results and ongoing quality measures
• Carry out special inspections and support new customer implementations and ongoing quality monitoring
• Identify, assess, document and report safety-related issues, such as damaged shipments, leaking liquids or potential dangerous goods, following applicable rules and defined processes
• Help apply safety and data protection rules in daily work, including ID checks, access security and keeping desks clear
• Exchange information with the Information Security Officer (ISO), and report and follow up on security-related issues and support needs in a structured way

• Organisational skills, resilience, a strong sense of responsibility and initiative
• Ability to work in a structured way, find solutions and adapt your approach to the people involved, even in demanding situations
• Completed vocational training in business, logistics or a production-related field, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in production, quality assurance or comparable operational areas
• Confident use of MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Strong understanding of workflows, quality requirements and how operations fit together
• Experience working with performance indicators and an analytical, structured approach focused on solutions
