Plant Technician / Mechatronics Technician / Electronics Technician

Without our plant technicians, nothing runs at the Greven-Reckenfeld mail center. We are looking for someone who maintains machines, keeps going until everything runs again, and works quickly yet precisely.

• Maintenance, servicing and inspection of conveyor systems and parcel and letter sorting systems
• Troubleshooting and fixing downtime and faults in the technical equipment
• Ongoing checks of the condition of the systems
• Monitoring production with regard to technical data
• IT-supported documentation of maintenance
• Technical support for supervisors
• Instruction and advice for operators

• Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician or in a comparable technical trade, e.g. electronics technician for industrial engineering or for energy and building technology
• Qualification as a skilled electrician is required
• Very good manual skills in mechanics, electrics and electronics
• Good IT skills (Windows / MS Office) for fault diagnosis and data entry
• Willingness to work in three-shift operation, including weekends
• Awareness of costs and quality
• Willingness to pursue further training in plant engineering
• Independent and self-responsible work
