Intern Strategic Operations, IT & Investment Controlling

Internship in the Strategic Operations, IT & Investment Controlling department at Finance Post & Parcel Germany of DHL Group in Bonn. Flexible working possible, start immediately or by agreement, for 3-6 months.

• Operations controlling - You analyze business and operational figures, spot developments and help derive concrete steering impulses
• IT controlling - You help analyze IT budgets, costs, projects and business cases and help make digital projects economically successful
• Investment controlling - You help evaluate investments and profitability calculations and prepare decision material for its audience
• Reporting and planning - You help with business plans, budgets and monthly reports, analyze deviations and develop meaningful presentations for management
• Future topics - You study the economic effects of artificial intelligence, automation and robotics and derive impulses for our business
• Data and tools - You structure data, automate recurring analyses and further develop existing reports and dashboards

• You study economics, business administration, economics, business informatics, computer science, data science, business analytics, mathematics, logistics / supply chain management or a comparable degree program.
• You are doing a compulsory or voluntary internship during your studies, in a gap year, or before or during a master's degree.
• You have very good German skills in speech and writing; good English skills are an advantage.
• Knowledge of and enjoyment in controlling, finance and/or accounting topics are desirable.
• You think analytically, work in a structured and independent way and enjoy explaining complex relationships clearly.
• You are confident with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Basic knowledge of Power BI, Power Apps, SAP, Python, SQL or AI tools is welcome but not required.
• You bring initiative, willingness to learn, reliability and enjoyment of teamwork.
