Apprenticeship as a Mechatronics Technician in 2027

Three-and-a-half-year apprenticeship in Leipzig. Mechatronics technicians work on equipment in sorting centres and combine mechanics, electronics and IT.

Look after equipment in sorting centres; help with installation; install and programme software; regularly maintain the technology; use computers, electrical testers, drills and welding equipment.

Very good lower secondary school certificate, good intermediate school certificate or entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences; good German skills of at least B2 level; good grades in mathematics, German and physics; practical skills; ability to solve problems as part of a team; punctual and reliable.
