IT Inhouse Consultant Finance & Merchandise Management

In the dm Group we are the technical experts for merchandise and financial processes. With modern IT solutions we support our employees in the preparation, execution, documentation and payment processing of all incoming invoices and much more. Our core task is to optimize processes together with the dm departments, improve them technologically and drive future-proof innovations. For this we also use state-of-the-art in-house AI applications. To strengthen our consulting and project team we are looking for a motivated and open-minded personality who wants to support us in the further development of our processes.

Your tasks: IT-side process support for international departments in purchasing and finance in group systems such as SAP. Conception and implementation of group applications and consulting of internal customers in the areas of purchasing and finance. Co-responsibility for the continuous analysis of processes and further development of group applications. Participation in group-wide IT projects – also in an international context. Support of the department and external partners in all project phases as well as in subsequent productive operation.

What you bring: Relevant degree (e.g. business informatics, business administration or comparable), ideally first relevant practical experience with IT processes in the area of merchandise and financial management. First experience with standard ERP systems (preferably SAP) and in IT project work. Enthusiasm for solving business management problems and interest in innovative solution approaches. Interest in challenges and working in agile, international teams. Strong communication skills and teamwork as well as forward-thinking and independent work. Very good German skills at least C1 level.
