Apprenticeship as a Fresh Food Specialist

Three-year apprenticeship as an all-rounder in retail with two IHK qualifications. You will learn about goods receiving, sales and business processes, as well as assortment planning and marketing campaigns.

Responsibility for purchasing, marketing, product presentation and sales; serving and advising customers in the fresh food departments; contributing your own creations; overseeing inventory management and retail business processes; learning all retail activities and hygiene requirements.

Enjoyment of customer contact, good communication skills, a pleasant manner, quick comprehension, independence, a sense of responsibility, organizational skills, interest in business relationships, creativity, teamwork and enthusiasm for fresh food.
