Abiturient Programme Apprenticeship and Further Training as Retail Specialist (IHK) 2027

Three-year apprenticeship and further training programme leading to a Retail Specialist qualification (IHK). After 18 to 24 months, participants obtain the Retail Salesperson qualification, followed by the Retail Specialist qualification. An additional trainer qualification is possible after two years.

Advising customers; managing sales, purchasing, ordering and stock operations; presenting goods to promote sales; helping shape product ranges; planning and organising sales; operating tills and completing till reconciliations; advising customers on services; managing an assigned area; analysing business performance indicators; leading employees; training new apprentices; managing business processes; gaining knowledge of marketing, work organisation, accounting, logistics, sales and personnel management.

Good university entrance qualification, Abitur or subject-specific university entrance qualification; ambition; enjoyment of interacting with people; openness; sense of responsibility; commitment; interest in business processes; friendly manner; well-groomed appearance; good communication skills; team spirit; quick comprehension.
