Apprenticeship Sales Assistant

Become the customer favorite. As a sales assistant, you not only trade goods and coordinate services, but together with your team you are the engine of every shopping cart. Service orientation is the focus: Through your friendly advice you make shopping easier for everyone and increase overall customer satisfaction with your know-how. In addition, you take care of a smooth goods receipt process, price labeling and sales-promoting product presentation. The special thing about the sales assistant apprenticeship is that the various working time models allow you to organize your free time individually. So every day is different and brings you exciting experiences.

You are responsible for sales, purchasing and marketing of our goods. You operate the checkouts, handle the accounting and are responsible for data analysis. You assist in the area of merchandise management and accounting. You are the contact person and important advisor for our customers.

You will learn the exciting diversity of retail. You will master everything related to goods - from purchasing to sales to marketing. You will learn all about advising, serving and dealing with customers. Your apprenticeship lasts two years. During the apprenticeship you will go through diverse fields of activity. In addition to vocational school, you will attend seminars and receive thorough exam preparation, which only EDEKA offers in this form and which provides you with the corresponding practical knowledge. After passing the exam you are a sales assistant and can extend your contract as a retail management assistant with correspondingly good performance.
