Apprenticeship as a Specialist Salesperson in the Food Trade, Butchery 2027

The three-year apprenticeship teaches the proper handling of meat, the presentation and sale of meat and sausage products, and quality assurance. The training can be shortened if performance is good.

Advising customers on cuts of meat, meat products, sausage products, cheese and other fresh-counter items; maintaining, checking and presenting products; processing meat correctly; complying with hygiene regulations; keeping the sales counter neat and clean; creating platter services, gift services and finger food; preparing meat attractively, stocking the counter, selling, treating and preparing products, and ensuring their quality.
