Welcome to Edeka-Zentrale AG & Co. KG! This apprenticeship as a Fresh Food Specialist (IHK) (all genders) takes place in Mühldorf, Bavaria. The apprenticeship starts on 1 September 2026 and lasts 3 years. Start your career in retail and develop valuable skills for your professional future.

• What do you make of yourself there? The Ausbildung as a Fresh Produce Specialist secures you two IHK degrees at once: Retail Salesperson with the additional qualification of certified Fresh Produce Specialist. The Ausbildung combines creativity, sociability, and commercial talent with technical and social competence.
• You are responsible for purchasing, marketing, and merchandise presentation up to sales
• You serve and advise customers in our high-quality fresh produce departments
• You contribute your own creations
• You supervise inventory management and business processes in retail

Duration and Process Your Ausbildung lasts 3 years. Afterwards, you will have the degree of Retail Salesperson – a solid foundation for a fast career and for self-employment at EDEKA. In addition, you will receive an additional qualification and will be a certified Fresh Produce Specialist (IHK) after your Ausbildung. This title primarily shows that you have comprehensive consulting and sales expertise in fresh and service-oriented food areas. During the Ausbildung period, you will go through varied fields of activity, and with exclusive supplementary seminars, we will push you to even greater success, step by step.
