Become the strong link in the logistics chain – you are responsible for the smooth operation in the wholesale warehouse. Logistical processes are in your hands and must be closely coordinated. Functioning teamwork is essential for this and customer orientation is always the top priority. Your world also extends beyond the warehouse boundaries, as you coordinate with teams from other functional areas. Your apprenticeship lasts three years and can be shortened under certain conditions. In addition to vocational school, you attend our internal apprenticeship-accompanying seminars, which only EDEKA offers in this form. This gives you the opportunity to prepare optimally for the activities in your professional field and pave the way for a steep career with us. Throughout your entire apprenticeship you have a fixed contact person on site who supports you with questions about the apprenticeship.

You receive goods deliveries and check them. You store goods systematically. You carry out inventory checks and initiate inventory maintenance measures. You label shipments according to legal requirements. You load and stow shipments in means of transport based on accompanying documents. You use internal information, communication and merchandise management systems. You create loading lists and loading plans. You process shipping and accompanying documents and assist in creating tour plans.

You are an absolute team player and reliability is not a foreign word to you. You are motivated and look forward to learning new things. You have stamina and physical resilience is no problem for you.
