About this Apprenticeship
Steering a 40-ton truck onto the often narrow loading ramps of a store is a real challenge. As a professional truck driver at EDEKA Südwest, you experience the variety between independent driving and contact with customers and your team every day. Starting with loading your truck and securing the goods, you supply different stores in local transport daily. In doing so, you check freight documents and are also responsible for the technical inspection of your vehicle.
What You'll Learn
- You are responsible for the daily delivery of the assembled goods to our EDEKA stores in the regional sales area
- You load and unload your truck
- You carry out maintenance and cleaning work on the vehicle
- You represent our logistics on site with our customers
Requirements
- You have a valid driving license class CE including professional driver qualification and driver card
- You bring professional experience as a truck driver with trailer or articulated lorries
- You show friendliness and helpfulness towards our customers
- We can rely on you, you are flexible and you have German language skills in word and writing
