Business customer sales representative, energy sector

As a field sales representative at Energie SaarLorLux in Saarbrücken, you support local business customers. You win new customers, develop existing customer relationships and advise on energy products and related services.

• Actively win new business customers through personal and written contact
• Support and develop existing customers for electricity, gas and district heating, and build lasting customer loyalty
• Handle incoming cancellations promptly and take targeted steps to win customers back
• Advise business customers on usage, instalment payments, bills and other energy matters, working with the relevant departments
• Handle new business customer registrations in line with sales and business requirements, especially creditworthiness
• Identify further sales and advice opportunities, actively sell energy related services and generate suitable leads for other departments
• Provide individual energy advice, analyse usage and develop financially worthwhile ways to reduce usage and costs

• Completed commercial or technical vocational training, for example as an industrial business administrator, ideally related to energy or utilities
• Solid sales experience, preferably in energy or a similar field
• Confident use of MS Office and good knowledge of SAP IS-U/S4 HANA or a similar energy industry system
• A strong focus on sales and service, with an interest in actively approaching customers and building lasting relationships
• A good understanding of business, energy industry processes and relevant rules and regulations
• Knowledge of general business law, contract law and competition law is an advantage
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, a confident manner and an independent, reliable approach to solving problems, with strong personal motivation
