• Read technical drawings and plan manufacturing processes
• Assemble mechanical components and assemblies – e.g. robot arms & drive systems
• Safely operate CNC machines & optimize programs
• Operate, monitor and repair machines and systems
• Manually and mechanically process workpieces – e.g. drilling, turning, milling
• Understand control technology: Working with pneumatic & hydraulic controls
