Shift Electrician

As a shift electrician at Fresenius Medical Care in St. Wendel, you troubleshoot, maintain, repair and improve electrical equipment. The site manufactures medical products for haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.

• Independently carry out systematic fault finding and repairs, including beyond your assigned area when necessary
• Carry out servicing and maintenance, including functional tests
• Create circuit diagrams and adjust and correct control, drive and process technology to improve plant equipment
• Complete regulatory documentation, including using IT documentation systems
• Follow workplace and product safety standards
• Support and carry out project tasks
• Calibrate measuring equipment

• Completed vocational training as an industrial electronics technician
• Several years of professional experience preferred
• Extensive knowledge of PLC technology at service training level (Siemens S7), including operation and monitoring with WinCC
• Extensive knowledge of drive technology, including frequency converters, positioning controls and robotics
• Good knowledge of process control electronics, including measurement and control technology
• Good knowledge of sensor systems and pneumatics
• Basic knowledge of industrial communications
• A structured, systematic and results focused approach to work
• Flexibility, teamwork and openness to new things
• Basic knowledge of MS Office programs
• Willingness to work a continuous shift schedule covering all days and nights
