You are responsible for the content mix of our brands WAZ, Westfalenpost and NRZ on the common social media platforms. You keep track of the key topics for the social media platforms, create a content plan and set your own accents and priorities. You work on the strategic further development of our social media strategy and help us, based on user analyses, to improve our content and formats specifically for our target groups. You develop expert knowledge in the social media environment and pass this on to editorial teams – additionally you advise and train colleagues. You are part of the NRW digital team and know and master the other digital distribution channels.

You have completed a journalistic traineeship (Volontariat) and gained initial experience in digital journalism. You are familiar with the social media area and enjoy creating targeted content for our accounts. You are passionate about journalism that touches, moves and informs people in our region. You are keen to continuously acquire new knowledge and drive projects in the digital environment. Willingness to work weekends and shifts completes your profile.
