Apprenticeship 2027 Chemical Laboratory Technician and Bachelor of Science – Chemistry

Dual training as a chemical laboratory technician (m/f/d) with a parallel chemistry degree at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. The training lasts 4 years, and the degree starts in the second year of training. There are no application deadlines. Practical training takes place at the Evonik site in Darmstadt, and theory phases at the Peter-Behrens-Schule and Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.

• Theory phases at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences (from the 2nd training year): basic training in the natural science fundamentals including mathematics, physics and computer science
• Solid theoretical basic knowledge for work in research and development in the chemical industry
• Lectures such as inorganic and organic chemistry, physical or analytical chemistry, and industrial chemistry and biochemistry
• Practical phases: getting to know the technical and organizational processes in the company
• Assignments in production and the laboratories, such as research and development, application technology and analytics
• Working on subject-related and application-oriented projects
• Preparing project papers and the bachelor's thesis
• Obtaining the IHK training qualification as a chemical laboratory technician (m/f/d)
