RESPONSIBILITIES Operational training: Handling of burners, tools, and machines for glass processing. Processing of glass tubes and rods by heating, shaping, and joining. Production of laboratory and special apparatus. Testing and quality assurance of glass products. Repair and adaptation of existing glass equipment. Work according to technical documents and safety regulations. Theoretical training: At the State Vocational School for Glass, Ceramics, and Graphic and Media Design in Rheinbach, you will receive a solid basic knowledge in specialized and general education subjects. Classes take place in block form. Training duration: 3 years. Start of training: 01.09.2027.
