Dual student, Mechanical Engineering: Building Services and Energy Management

Dual study program in mechanical engineering with a focus on building services and energy management. The program lasts three years or six semesters at Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University at the Horb campus and leads to a Bachelor of Engineering. Practical phases take place at the Engen am Bodensee site.

Theoretical phases covering technical subjects such as heating and air-conditioning technology, thermodynamics and technical mechanics, construction-specific seminars and business fundamentals; learning about project execution on construction sites; supporting the coordination and site management of building services trades; gaining insights into integrated planning, technical purchasing, sales and other specialist areas.

Successfully completed university of applied sciences entrance qualification or general university entrance qualification; very good performance in mathematics and physics; good English skills; strong technical interest and spatial awareness; openness to new things, commitment to teamwork and strong communication skills.
