• Creation, maintenance and updating of technical documentation for vehicle trailers and their components
• Creation of operating, user, assembly, maintenance and repair instructions
• Processing technical information from design, development, production and service
• Creation and maintenance of spare parts catalogs, technical data sheets and product information
• Documentation of assemblies, functions, technical processes and maintenance work
• Creation or coordination of technical illustrations, exploded views and assembly drawings
• Clear and target-group-appropriate description of complex technical matters
• Ensuring consistent terminology and documentation structure
• Maintenance and management of technical documents and documentation versions
• Coordination with design, development, quality assurance, production, purchasing and customer service
• Research and evaluation of technical information directly on the product
• Consideration of relevant standards, guidelines, safety requirements and legal regulations
• Support in creating and maintaining digital documentation and online help
• Continuous improvement of existing documentation processes
• Participation in project work in the technical area

• Completed training or degree in a technical field, e.g. as:
• Technical Writer (m/f/d)
• Technical Draftsperson / Technical Product Designer (m/f/d)
• Mechanical Engineering Technician (m/f/d)
• Vehicle Technician (m/f/d)
• Engineer (m/f/d) Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Technology or comparable
• Experience in technical writing or technical documentation desirable
• Good technical knowledge in vehicle technology, mechanical engineering or trailer construction
• Ability to formulate technical contexts clearly and precisely
• Proficient in MS Office and ideally an editorial tool
• Experience with CAD systems or technical drawings an advantage
• Experience with editorial systems, document management or graphics programs desirable
• Independent, structured and conscientious way of working
