Ausbildung as a Fashion Consultant (Start 2026)

Welcome to Jakob Jost! This fashion adviser apprenticeship (all genders), starting in 2026, takes place in Worms, Rhineland-Palatinate. The apprenticeship lasts 2 years. Monthly apprenticeship pay starts at €1,065 in the first year and rises to €1,300 in the final training year. Start your career in retail and develop valuable skills for your professional future.

• During your apprenticeship, you can look forward to exciting and varied tasks:
• Advising customers and inspiring their interest in fashion
• Unpacking the latest fashion trends and creating attractive displays
• Processing payments using a touchscreen checkout system
• Placing special customer orders, handling exchanges and dealing with complaints
• Getting to know our product range and current trends
• Developing knowledge and a feel for fashion.

After two years, you will have earned your sales assistant qualification. If you perform well at school and in the workplace during this time, you can move straight into a third year of training to qualify as a retail sales specialist. Vocational school classes alternate between one day one week and two days the following week.

Prospects: We prefer to hire employees from within our own ranks. Therefore, with good academic and professional performance, we take on every apprentice after their Ausbildung. After completing our Ausbildung, you can give your career path another boost and perhaps even take a seat in the executive chair with us – for example, as a department manager, branch manager, or in purchasing. We support you with our extensive range of further training – for example, through internal further training or the external dual further training to become a Bekleidungsfachwirt/in at the LDT Nagold.

Earnings: We believe good work should be rewarded, which is why our apprentices earn above average. In the first year of Ausbildung, there is €1,065, in the second year €1,170, and in the third year €1,300. Holiday and Christmas bonuses are also added on top.
