School Leaver Programme in Store Retail Management 2027

Three-year school leaver programme at Kaufland in Helmstedt, combining a retail apprenticeship, further training as a Bachelor Professional of Trade and Commerce, and a trainer qualification. Starts on 1 August 2027.

• Complete a retail apprenticeship in the first 1.5 years, followed by 1.5 years of further training as a Bachelor Professional of Trade and Commerce. You also gain a trainer qualification.
• Handle goods from ordering to sale and help shape the customer shopping experience.
• Take responsibility for a product department, staff scheduling and stocktaking.
• Help analyse business figures, such as your store's sales.

• You have completed or are about to complete your Abitur or university of applied sciences entrance qualification.
• You are interested in food and want to learn about ordering, selling goods and the product range.
• You enjoy approaching people and can win them over with your communication skills.
• You are highly motivated, reliable and available to work flexibly around store opening hours.
