• Complete 1.5 years of vocational training in retail sales, followed by 1.5 years of further training as a certified retail specialist (Bachelor Professional of Trade and Commerce), plus a trainer qualification.
• Take charge of goods processes from ordering to sales and help shape customers’ shopping experience.
• Develop leadership skills by taking responsibility for a product department, staff scheduling and stocktaking.
• Help analyse business figures, such as your store’s sales.
• Receive at least €1,350 gross per month for the first six months, at least €1,500 gross per month from months 7 to 18, and pay above the fixed pay scale from month 19. Holiday and Christmas bonuses and six weeks of annual leave are also included.
• Gain three qualifications in three years, with accommodation and meals covered during classroom training at an external training centre.
• Have strong chances of continued employment after passing the final exam, potentially leading your own product department with good performance. A bonus is available for good training results.
• Receive support from your trainer and thorough exam preparation for both practical and classroom learning.
