What Kaufland Dienstleistung GmbH & Co. KG offers

• During the first 1.5 years, you complete a retail apprenticeship, followed by 1.5 years of further training for the Bachelor Professional of Trade and Commerce qualification. You also gain a trainer qualification.
• You take charge of goods processes from ordering to selling, as well as customers' shopping experience.
• Take responsibility for a product department, staff scheduling and stocktaking.
• Help assess business figures, such as your store's sales.
• You receive at least €1,350 gross per month during the first six months, at least €1,500 gross per month from months 7 to 18, and pay above the fixed pay scale from month 19. You also receive holiday and Christmas payments and six weeks of holiday per year.
• Gain three qualifications in three years. Accommodation and meals are also covered during your school phase at an external training centre.
• After passing your final exam, you have a very good chance of being offered a job. Good performance can lead directly to managing your own product department. You also receive a bonus for doing well in your apprenticeship.
• Your trainer and thorough exam preparation help you develop both practical skills and knowledge for the future.
