Abitur Programme in Store Operations - Retail Business Manager 2027

In Kaufland's Abitur programme you earn three IHK qualifications and take on leadership responsibility. In the first 1.5 years you complete the apprenticeship as a retail merchant, followed by 1.5 years of further training to become a Retail Business Manager (Handelsfachwirt, Bachelor Professional of Trade and Commerce). The trainer qualification is added on top. Full-time, permanent.

• Apprenticeship as a retail merchant in the first 1.5 years, then further training as Handelsfachwirt and trainer qualification
• Goods processes from ordering to sale and the customers' shopping experience are in your hands
• Take responsibility for a product area, staff scheduling and inventory
• Help analyse business figures, e.g. your store's sales

• You already have your Abitur or Fachhochschulreife, or you are about to finish it.
• You want to learn more about ordering, selling our goods and our product range.
• You like approaching people and can inspire them with strong communication skills.
• You are highly motivated, reliable and can work flexibly around store opening hours.
