Apprenticeship as Merchant in Wholesale and Foreign Trade Management - Start 2027 - Food & Shipping

The Kloska Group is a service partner and leading system supplier for shipping, shipyards, on-/offshore, industry, construction and crafts with around 800 employees at 30 locations in Germany and abroad. As a general ship chandler for cruise, ferry and merchant shipping, Kloska Rostock GmbH offers an extensive maritime service portfolio ranging from provisions, technical and stores deliveries to logistics services. For the start of training on 01.08.2027, we are looking for a motivated trainee (m/f/d) for our branch in Bremerhaven who wants to learn the profession of merchant in wholesale and foreign trade management with us. During your apprenticeship you will rotate through all company areas and thus learn the interrelationships between the individual departments. The focus is on the departments of purchasing, sales, administration, warehouse/logistics and accounting. Among other things, you will learn how goods from various manufacturers are procured in large quantities and delivered to our customers on time.

• Participation in negotiation meetings
• Customer contact via mail, phone and in person
• Commercial control of processes and work with merchandise management systems
• Monitoring of logistics processes
• Support with all daily tasks in the departments
• Use of e-business systems for resource planning and processing of customer orders

• At least a good secondary school diploma (Realschulabschluss)
• Good numerical aptitude
• Basic knowledge of IT programs (MS Office)
• Enthusiasm for trade and willingness to take responsibility and work independently
• Good communication skills and enjoyment of dealing with customers
• Enjoyment of teamwork
• Foreign language skills (e.g. English) are an advantage
