Working Student in Production and Maintenance

Working student role at Knauf Gips KG in Hüttenheim, supporting plant, production and maintenance management with daily operations and projects. The role covers production data, process improvements, and technical and organisational tasks. Hybrid working is available.

• Support plant, production and maintenance management with varied tasks in daily operations and ongoing projects
• Analyse and prepare relevant production figures, take part in shop floor meetings and follow up on actions
• Help with lean management, continuous improvement and total productive maintenance, including 5S audits, improvement and Kaizen measures, and the introduction of a new employee skills matrix
• Help with maintenance tasks involving SAP PM, maintenance plans, work orders, criticality assessments and technical documentation
• Coordinate organisational matters between production, quality, logistics and external service providers, and help with workplace safety, documentation and coordination across departments

• Currently enrolled in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a similar technical degree programme
• Ideally, knowledge of production, maintenance, lean management, total productive maintenance or process improvement
• Initial experience with SAP PM is an advantage
• An independent, organised and reliable approach to work, analytical thinking and a good understanding of technical and organisational processes
• Strong communication skills, team spirit and very good German
