About this Apprenticeship
KSB trains you in its own foundry, where metal parts for pumps and valves are made. You prepare for a responsible job in the foundry.
What You'll Learn
- Make metal parts and melt hot metal into cast products and reshape it
- Make moulds by hand or by machine
- Program and operate foundry equipment
- Separate the blanks after cooling, check quality and prepare them for further processing
- Work in a team
Requirements
- Qualifying Mittelschulabschluss or Mittlere Reife
- Good grades in maths and physics
- Technical understanding and manual skills
