Apprenticeship Mechatronics Technician

Tetra-DUR Kunststoff-Produktion GmbH in Seevetal near Hamburg is one of the leading manufacturers of thermosetting molding compounds and represents the European unit of the globally operating Engineered Composites Division of the LyondellBasell Group. The division also operates production sites in the USA, Mexico and Brazil. Our molding compounds 'Bulk Molding Compounds' (BMC) and 'Sheet Molding Compounds' (SMC) are used in a wide range of solutions for demanding applications in the electrical, automotive and household goods industries. For our production site in Seevetal near Hamburg, we are looking for an Apprenticeship Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) on a permanent basis and starting as soon as possible. Practical training at our Seevetal site. Vocational school lessons at the responsible vocational school in the region. Apprenticeship duration 3.5 years. With good performance, the training period can be shortened.

• Basics of electrical engineering, electronics, mechanics, hydraulics and metalworking
• Mechanical processing of materials and components
• Tasks such as maintenance and repair directly on our production plants
• Fault finding, analysis and rectification of malfunctions on mechanical and electrical components

• At least a successful lower secondary school certificate
• Good grades in mathematics and physics
• Enjoyment of manual work and interest in technology and electronics
• Willingness to work in a team and learn independently
