(Senior) Specialist Customer Payments Focus Consumer Finance

The Customer Payments department ensures optimal customer experiences during purchases across various touchpoints and for refunds through smooth payment processes. By selecting a balanced payment mix, it ensures customers can pay according to their individual needs. This includes not only direct payment but also installment and financing solutions. Through an efficient mix of in-house development and collaboration with high-performing partners, innovative, efficient, and stable solutions for payment processing as well as fraud and risk management are developed. In cooperation with the respective national companies, both revenue and cost models of the individual payment options are optimized.

• (Competitive & success) analysis and preparation regarding consumer finance & payment services
• Creation of reports for decision-making using various data sources
• Support and creation of tenders
• Coordination between various stakeholders such as national companies, Legal/Data Privacy/IT Security/Store Processes, Tax etc.
• Review/monitoring and further development of payment processes
• Management, tracking and support of internal projects
• Support and introduction of digital processes together with external stakeholders
• Support in cooperation and coordination with national companies

• Successfully completed degree in business administration / banking training / commercial training in retail or equivalent qualification
• Experience in retail environment stationary, e-commerce or design of sales & booking processes
• Knowledge in process design and project management advantageous
• Knowledge of consumer finance / credit types / card business / BNPL services advantageous
• German / English written and spoken
• Advanced knowledge in database usage
• Ability to learn regarding new products or further development of existing solutions
