Learn the fundamentals of metalworking in the training workshop; set up machinery and equipment and monitor production processes; analyze production orders and assess their technical feasibility; program computer-controlled production systems; manufacture components according to quality specifications using machining processes.

Qualified lower secondary school certificate or intermediate school-leaving certificate; goal-oriented and responsible way of working; interest in technology and physical relationships; good knowledge of mathematics and technology; enjoyment of varied and demanding tasks.
