School Leaver Programme to Become a Certified Retail Management Specialist

A three-year programme at NKD for school leavers with university entrance qualifications, leading to three qualifications and preparing you for management in clothing retail. Career options include store management, district management, visual merchandising and store auditing.

• Develop step by step into a manager, taking on staff and sales responsibility early
• Learn the basics of clothing retail, including visual merchandising, handling goods and customer service
• Get started early by supporting store management and gaining experience in different NKD stores
• Work towards your own store: After the initial apprenticeship, you may have the opportunity to manage a store
• Learn about leadership by accompanying district managers on store visits and staff meetings and helping with projects
• Combine practice with theory through block seminars at the Bindlach head office

• You have a university or university of applied sciences entrance qualification and want to gain practical experience straight after school
• You are interested in fashion, retail and business administration
• You are responsible, open-minded and committed
• You want to take on responsibility early, make your own decisions and develop into a manager
• You enjoy working with people and motivating a team
• You enjoy working independently, reliably and towards clear goals
• You are flexible and mobile, have a category B driving licence and are willing to consider moving to another location after training to advance your career
