Apprenticeship as Judicial Specialist / Civil Servant in General Judicial Service

We are looking for motivated applicants every year for the apprenticeship as judicial specialist. The start is every year on September 1st, applications are possible until January 31st. The Higher Regional Court Braunschweig is the hiring authority. Training takes place at selected courts in the OLG district as well as at the public prosecutor's offices in Braunschweig and Göttingen. After passing the apprenticeship, employment usually follows at one of the courts in the OLG district Braunschweig or the public prosecutor's office Braunschweig or Göttingen. At courts and public prosecutor's offices, judicial specialists are usually the first point of contact for citizens seeking advice. They accept applications, provide information, or issue documents. They also perform a variety of important organizational, administrative, and legal tasks – particularly in areas such as criminal law, civil law, estate matters, insolvency cases, and land registry.

Successful middle school diploma (Realschulabschluss) or successful secondary school diploma (Hauptschulabschluss) and a completed judicial clerk, legal assistant, or notary assistant apprenticeship or equivalent recognized education level. Age: The 40th year of life (45th for severely disabled) must not be completed, exceptions possible. Nationality: German or nationality according to § 7 Abs. 1 Nr. 1 a) to c) BeamtStG (e.g., nationality of another EU member state). For severely disabled: preferential hiring with equal suitability.
