Apprenticeship as Automotive Mechatronics Technician, Focus: Systems and High-Voltage Technology

The vocational training team at Porsche Leipzig is responsible for planning and running the in-company training. Training starts in August 2027.

• Introduction to production and sales
• Planning, maintenance, testing, diagnostics and repair of vehicle systems
• Structure, function and operation of high-voltage systems and their components
• Testing high-voltage systems with diagnostic devices
• Repairing and replacing high-voltage components
• Carrying out insulation, equipotential bonding and voltage drop measurements
• Repair of drive units including engine management system
• Finding causes of malfunctions in drive, chassis, comfort and safety systems using diagnostic systems

• Lower or intermediate secondary school certificate with good grades in German, math, physics, technology or IT
• Some practical experience in a technical environment as well as manual skill and spatial awareness
• Interest in technical relationships
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Great fascination for automobile manufacturing
