Welcome to psb intralogistics GmbH! This Ausbildung as an Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d) takes place in Kaiserslautern, Rhineland-Palatinate. The Ausbildung duration is 42 months. Start your career in the technical field and develop valuable skills for your professional future.

The main tasks of industrial mechanics are the production, maintenance, and monitoring of technical systems. Your activities include setting up, retooling, and commissioning production facilities. Typical areas of application are maintenance, plant and mechanical engineering, production technology, and precision engineering. You carry out your activities in compliance with the relevant regulations and safety provisions, coordinate your work with upstream and downstream areas, and work in a team.

After completing your Ausbildung as an industrial mechanic specializing in machine and plant technology, you can be deployed in all production areas at psb. The trained Azubis find exciting activities in departments such as turning, milling, maintenance, pre-assembly, final assembly, as well as in external assembly directly at the customer's site.

• Manufacturing components/assemblies and assembling them into technical systems
• Identifying and documenting faults and their causes in technical systems
• Repairing technical systems
• Retooling machines and systems
• Carrying out maintenance and inspections
• Selecting testing procedures and equipment
• Handing over technical systems and products to customers and instructing customers in the use of the plant
• Ensuring system operability
• Checking and expanding electrical components of control technology
• Considering business processes and applying quality management in the area of application

Course of the Ausbildung In all 3 years of the Ausbildung, classes are held part-time. You will alternate between one week with one school day and one week with two school days. The rest of the time you will be with us in the company to gain the necessary practical experience. If your academic and practical performance allows, the duration of the Ausbildung can be shortened by half a year or possibly even a whole year.

During your Ausbildung, you will partly be in our training workshop and partly in the various departments at psb, up to external assembly at the customer's site.
