Consultant Treasury Risk & Accounting Advice

The Consulting business unit is looking for a Consultant Treasury Risk & Accounting Advice as soon as possible. You start in a specialized team focused on accounting and valuation of financial instruments and managing financial risks.

• Advise or audit on accounting for financial instruments under HGB and IFRS (incl. IFRS 9, IAS 32, IFRS 7) through to hedge accounting
• Support identifying, analyzing and measuring risk positions and developing risk and hedging strategies
• Support advice and audits on financial market regulation (e.g. EMIR)
• Further develop data-driven and AI-supported solutions for valuation and accounting processes

• Degree (or soon completed) in economics, (business) mathematics, (business) informatics, (business) engineering, physics with focus on finance and accounting, or a comparable program
• (First) experience in business processes and consulting or auditing, or in corporate treasury, financial risk management or accounting and valuation of financial instruments through internships or vocational training
• Ideally first knowledge of accounting for financial instruments (IFRS 9, IAS 32, IFRS 7, HGB) or their valuation and interest in regulatory topics
• Strong affinity for technology and first experience with AI tools or willingness to learn; ideally first knowledge of data analysis and automation (e.g. Power BI, SQL, Python)
• You like using modern AI tools to automate routine tasks
• Fluent German and English, spoken and written
• Analytical way of working, strong communication, team spirit, and solution and results orientation
