Accounts Payable Accountant

REWE Dortmund SE & Co. KG is looking for an accounts payable accountant (m/f/d) to start immediately, full-time in Dortmund. You check and post incoming invoices, handle payments and support month-end and year-end closings.

• You independently check, assign and post incoming invoices.
• You monitor and carry out payments.
• You reconcile accounts payable and general ledger accounts and clear open items.
• You maintain the relevant master data.
• You support month-end and year-end closings.
• You post general accounting documents.
• You are the contact person for our internal and external customers.
• You actively take part in cross-department projects.

• You have successfully completed commercial vocational training.
• Ideally you have several years of professional experience in accounts payable.
• You have experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP R/3.
• You are self-motivated, committed and responsible.
• You are willing to question and optimise existing processes.
• You work in a structured, independent and results-oriented way.
• You are a team player and enjoy working across departments.
• You have solid knowledge of common MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
• You have a strong understanding of service.
• You are discreet and good with numbers.
